The 19 channels

Speaking engagements

Talks. Does not scale, which is why it is still uncrowded.

What it is

One of the 19 traction channels. S3

When it works

When you have a point of view and an audience that gathers to hear one. Category design treats a point of view and starting new conversations as components of creating a market. S16 It is one of Chen’s little channels: too small for large competitors to saturate. S25

What it needs from the product

Nothing structural. Time, and something to say.

How it decays

Slowly. A talk is not a loop, so it does not compound unless it lands on an owned channel. S22

What the report checks

No gate can fail. Open by default, ranked low.
